There is a turning circle just outside Lowry where passengers can be dropped off before parking.
The closest parking to Lowry is the multi-storey car park at Quayside MediaCityUK shopping centre (M50 3AH). There are 80 accessible parking bays available across the car park with spaces on every level. A lift provides access to the ground floor.
Blue Badge holders can park free of charge for up to four hours. Any time beyond the initial four hours will be charged at the standard rate.
To claim this:
- Go to the pay machine, before leaving the car park.
- Enter car registration and press CONFIRM.
- Select REDEEM CODE (instead of “Proceed to Pay”).
- Enter the full Blue Badge ID number (letters and numbers) and press CONFIRM.
- If the amount shows £0.00, you must still press CONTINUE. The next page will confirm DONE.
- If parked over 4 hours, £4.50 will be deducted from the cost. You may then pay the difference by card.
If you're driving a tall vehicle, please use the entrance via the roundabout on Quays Road, as it has higher barriers than the entrance near the coach and bus parking area.
Lowry does have two dedicated parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, located on our service road. These cannot be booked in advance and are available on a first-come first-served basis.
Occasionally, these spaces may be unavailable due to use by production teams. Unfortunately, no additional parking can be offered on the service road due to the number of other large vehicles using this road.
